What Should I Blog About?

"Finding a topic to write about can be a bit much. But if I can, you can too".

You've heard it over and over again, "Write What You Know," "Write What You Like," "Write What You Love". Really. What kind of writing rules are those? Those are just stupid conversational wisdom suggests. You can write about your interests. Forget about those stupid sayings. You can write about what you want to learn more about. Want a real golden writing rule? Well, writers write about all kinds of things, don't ever believe "you must brand yourself as an expert in your niche" ...  It's just a MUST ignore dissuading rule that shouldn't even exist.

Remember.
If you want to become a successful blogger, you should write about something you know. Something you like or something you love. Or if that doesn’t work write about something you want to learn or simply improve.

Writing about something you want to learn or simply improve. Believe it or not, many great bloggers started writing about things that they wanted to know more about. just like me. I started this blog because I wanted to learn more about the subject (blogging), and share what I've learned with anybody who wants to read.

If you're going to blog about something you know nothing about, here is what I suggest:
What are you going to blog about?
First, find what you're going to write about. This can be from "how to make money blogging" to "how to cook Chinese food".

Use your favorite search engine and look for that topic. You can write about whatever you wish, Internet is your friend. If you're having trouble on finding what looking for, look for books at your local public library or Amazon.

The more you practice, the better you'll become.
If you want to become great at what you're going to write about, then you should practice as much (or as often) as possible. Doing something over and over again is the only way to do it well.

This article is mostly focus on starting a blog in a topic you know nothing about, and it doesn't mean that you can't start a blog in topic that you have knowledge of. So if you're a web designer and want to start a blog about web designing. Go head and start blogging.

What Is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS is a format used to deliver information from websites or blogs that get updated constantly. The advantage of RSS is that allows people to read the latest headlines from their favorite sites without even visit them.

This is how it works if you have a blog: Every time you write and publish a new article on your blog, an email notification is sent to your subscribers with your latest article for them to read it. This email notification (or RSS document) is called news “news feed”, “web feed” or just “feed”. These special computer programs “RSS aggregator” are specially developed to automatically access the RSS feeds of your website and organized the result for your readers. RSS feed and RSS aggregators are sometimes called “RSS Channels” or “RSS Readers”.

The acronym RSS stands for many versions, but does it matter? Of course not, you can use any of the versions available (all of them are used for the same thing).
·        Really Simple Syndication
·        Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91)
·        RDF Site Summary (RSS 0.9 and 1.0)
·        Real-time Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0)

All of us have some typical website we like to visit, we can subscribe to the RSS feed of all those websites and receive the latest information in the form of headlines. If you have a website or blog you can distribute the latest information to all your readers via RSS.
RSS is really a win, for both subscriber and publishers. Want a simpler explanation of what RSS is? Watch this awesome video that explains RSS in plain English.
